Liebe Ule, ich wollte dich neulich schon fragen, unter was finde ich diese „Schiebereglerfunktion“, wo man zwei Bilder anzeigen kann, so, wie du es hier gemacht hast? Mir ist das schon mal begegnet, aber jetzt konnte ich es nicht wiederfinden, als ich vorletzte Woche was zur Baumscheibe geschrieben habe. Da hätte ich gerne ein Vorher / Nachher-Bild gezeigt.

Hallo Almuth, die Funktion findet sich im Blockeditor bei den verschiedenen Möglichkeiten der Vorformatierung (über das + erreichbar) und heißt so ähnlich wie Vergleich/Compare oder so. Im mobilen Editor finde ich den Modus allerdings nicht, nur wenn ich am Rechner schreibe.

Soeben habe ich auch deinen Beitrag Blickfang von 2019 angeschaut. Klasse!! Auch da ist der Schattenwurf der Blickfang. Interessant finde ich, wie’s sich jetzt entwickelt und bin gespannt, wie und ob das mit dem Skizzieren weitergeht. Hast du damals auch schon skizziert oder reizt es dich jetzt?

Ja, Petra, Schatten und Spiegelungen haben mich schon immer fasziniert. Ich freue mich sehr darüber, dass du immer mal wieder auch einen Blick in meine Vergangenheit riskierst.
Gezeichnet habe ich auch immer mal wieder, aber nie in der Intensität, wie ich sie seit Dezember erlebe. Dagegen tritt vieles in den Hintergrund und ich fühle mich tief zufrieden damit. Das wird weitergehen, auch in Kombination mit Farbe, wohin es mich früher nicht so gezogen hat. Du wirst sehen 🙂

Very interesting! The photo says, „Let’s explore the whole thing and not just look at the flowers“ We’re in a tulipworld. Tulips have a quality of being strong and graceful at the same time. What I like best about this is the idea of the shadow cast on a vase that is the color of tulips (at least some of them!). Something to think about. I could also see cropping away the left side and the bottom so the background almost disappears and you’re confronted just with the vase color, the shadow (with its different intensities), and the stems, leaves, and blurred flower. I love those abstract shapes!

Hi Lynn, you are right (of course you are): The photo could be cut differently and tell another story of tulips life and death. I just tried and I’m completely convinced. It becomes much more abstract that way.
The color of the vase is really great for tulips, no matter what color they are, I prefer this vase to put them in. Even yellow or orange ones fit in a quite bizarre way, like a color mix of tulips always fits when you put a really large variety of colors together.

I can imagine multicolor tulips would create a fabulous spot of color in that vase! Did I tell you that millions of tulips are grown near here? The growers realized they could make money both by selling the bulbs (they are mostly grown for bulbs, not for cut flowers) and by inviting people to see the fields. It has become hugely popular, especially with people from Seattle. They have to grow single colors together so they can harvest efficiently so the fields are big, simple, blocks of color. Today we drove by and looked – they are looking great in the sun. 🙂

That sounds like the Dutch tulip farms not far from here. Must be overwhelming.

Gut gesehen! Dieser starke Schatten ist ein tolles Motiv, sowohl als Foto, als auch als Zeichnung. Du hast die Farben notiert sehe ich. Wirst du das auch noch malersich umsetzen? Schatten bieten immer so viel Interpretationsfläche. Ich sehe u.a. einen Großmaulfrosch, der ein Blütenblatt verschlingt 🙂 Die Tulpen haben es dir auf jeden Fall angetan. Schöne Reihe!

Ob ich malerisch noch mal an dieses Motiv gehe, weiß ich noch nicht. Vielleicht reizt mich der verfressene Großmaulfrosch mehr?
Tulpen finde ich einfach unwiderstehlich, und ich freue mich über Menschen, die meine Freude teilen. Danke, Almuth.

Sowas passiert leicht in der Tulpenzeit. Wir haben sozusagen den Anfang für ein Tulpennetz geknüpft.
